-how did learning about your partners strategies mske you consider alternative data collection strategies for the upcoming week.

-how is your data informing your wondering at this point of the inquiry cycle?

My partner (the intern that I am co-interning with) is collecting all types of data. She collects data about their RP goals, DRA, running records, student interest survey, and classroom information. I am also collecting those things but since our inquiry is about behavior, I like to write down what types of misbehaviors happen within the classroom, what time and by who. I got this strategy from my inquiry last year, but instead of focusing on one student, I am looking at the whole class.

The way my partner collects her data by using protocal is by organizing it in group. She has a binder in which she hasa section for each type of data collected such as classroom procedures, behavior management guidelines, general classroom information, classroom data, and individual data. They are all separated by tabsa and colors.

My partner has helped me tremendously in understanding how to organize my data and what types of data to collect. Our data binders are helping us stay organized and easily locate the information we need. Our initial wondering has to do with behavior management so we will both have a tab in our binders that will help us notice classroom behavior patterns as well as individual behavior patterns. My data is informing me about my wondering because I am looking at classroom patterns and individual patterns to pin point the cause of the behavior problems.
